CULTURE

Halkidiki is beautiful, not only for its beaches but also for a vivid cultural activity, especially during the summer months. In July and August, one may come across festivities, concerts and folklore fests. These events are a unique opportunity for the visitor to get a glimpse at the local culture but also enjoy shows from artists, both Greek and foreigners.

The sea festival, the olive celebration, the Agia Marina exhibition and the Sardela (sardine) fest, all are an invitation to locals and visitors for an experience to remember. Though it is difficult to choose, we picked three of these events.
